Sidney

Janey is a trained and licensed songbird rehabilitator. The birds she rehabilitates are usually injured or too young to take care of themselves. This is a story about one of the many birds she rehabilitated.

	Sidney came to us as a day-old "pinkie".
	He thrived under Janey's care.
	He and his brothers were always interested in what we were doing.
	After we released him, he enjoyed the many trees we had on the ranch.
	And he would always visit with us when we were outside.
	And entertain us with his antics.

Sidney has gone off to start his own colony. He calls to us occasionally, but he has his own family now.
